Cold Rolled Full Hard (CRFH) steel is a non-annealed product directly obtained from the cold reduction of hot-rolled coils. Known for its high strength and excellent dimensional tolerances, CRFH serves as a raw material for galvanizing and further downstream processing.
CRCA steel is derived from CRFH coils through annealing, improving ductility and formability. It’s widely used for applications requiring tight tolerances, deep drawing, and high surface finish.
CRFH and CRCA are both cold rolled steels, but they serve different needs. CRFH is a full hard, non-annealed steel used as a strong base material. CRCA is annealed for better flexibility and finish, ideal for deep drawing and precision applications like auto panels and enclosures.
| Feature | CRFH | CRCA |
|---|---|---|
| Processing | Not annealed after cold rolling | Annealed after cold rolling |
| Strength | Very high | Moderate, with better flexibility |
| Formability | Limited formability | Excellent for deep drawing and stamping |
| Surface Finish | Bright | Matte |
